Description

Note: Feature was requested by a partner.

There are 2 Wiki-Documents which describe the procedures to configure tomcat as non-root user.
http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?title=HowTos/ScalixSecurity#Run_tomcat_as_non-root_user
http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?title=HowTos/Tomcat#Running_Tomcat_as_a_non-root_user

Beside the currently unproven question if this procedures are complete and still valid it seems to be a valid request to harden a system which can face to public networks directly.

Following the instructions from the ScalixSecurity Howto requires an adjustment on /etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat which will be overwritten during upgrades.
